Born and raised in the Philippines, I was guided by my parents' aspirations for me to pursue a career in medicine. Following their wishes, I became a licensed physiotherapist. While I found fulfillment in helping others heal, my true passion lay elsewhere within the realm of creativity.
My journey into the creative world began unexpectedly. While working as a personal trainer, I connected with a client involved in PR and marketing. Through this relationship, I was introduced to opportunities in brand promotion. Over the next five years, I had the privilege of representing brands like Samsung, Captain Morgan, Toblerone, and Nescafé. This experience not only expanded my horizons but also ignited a deeper passion for the creative industry.
During this time, I participated in editorial projects and was invited to take part in beauty and bikini pageants. A highlight was being featured as an "Asian Beauty" in Playboy Philippines in 2013, underscoring my established presence as a model. Modeling became the gateway that opened my mind to the vast possibilities within the creative industry.
I also ventured into the world of acting, participating as an extra in TV shows and movies. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of the entertainment industry and further fueled my passion for creative expression.
Relocating to Melbourne with my young family marked a new chapter. Initially without many connections, I faced the challenge of rebuilding my career. Determined, I pursued a qualification in hair and makeup artistry. In 2018, I secured weekend work at a photography studio in Footscray and joined UFS Pharmacy in Ballarat as a Prestige Cosmetic Consultant. These roles allowed me to refine my skills and build meaningful connections within the beauty industry.
Our move to Sunshine West opened doors to further opportunities. I joined Sephora Australia at Northland Shopping Centre as a Beauty Studio Artist. This role enabled me to collaborate with diverse clients and enhance my expertise in makeup artistry.
By mid-2020, the need for a more flexible schedule to care for our son, who is high-needs non verbal autism level 3, deaf, ADHD and intellectual disability led me to transition into freelance work. I established my own hair and makeup business, allowing me to balance my professional aspirations with family responsibilities.
The uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic became an unexpected turning point lit brought me back to modeling and acting with renewed determination. Drawing on years of experience and trusted industry relationships, I stepped confidently into projects spanning content creation, television commercials, TV shows, film, and print media.
From 2019 to 2022, I was represented by Real People Agency in Melbourne, where I rebuilt momentum and re-established my creative presence. In 2022, I joined Silverfox Management, Australia’s pioneering agency exclusively representing talent over 30. Through their “Age Positive” movement, I embraced the power of maturity, authenticity, and lived experience expanding my work as a model, actress, and content creator until 2025.
Then, in late October 2025, life shifted overnight. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and a seizure caused a traumatic shoulder dislocation, compounding an already critical medical crisis. In an instant, career ambitions paused as resilience became more than a mindset it became daily practice. Strength took on a new meaning. So did perspective.
Adversity, however, has a way of refining purpose.
In January 2026, I reunited with Real People Agency not as the same person who left, but as someone transformed by experience. This renewed partnership offers flexibility and the freedom to pursue additional opportunities beyond agency representation. I return to the industry grounded, focused, and more powerful in my storytelling than ever before.
My work now carries depth shaped by real life courage, vulnerability, endurance, and strength. I am not simply continuing my career. I am stepping forward with intention, clarity, and a voice forged through challenge.
This is not a restart.
It is a return — stronger.
I began organizing projects that led to magazine editorial work, where industry professionals recognized my talent in photo editing for publications. This recognition paved the way for my role as a magazine submission consultant and photo editor.
As my career evolved, I expanded my skills to include wardrobe styling, creative direction for projects, and consultancy for photo shoots. I'm a founding member of Kisau Photography, where I contribute my expertise as a magazine consultant, reinforcing my role as a valued creative partner.
Recently, I launched a mentorship program to share my industry knowledge and guide aspiring creatives. My vision is to help newcomers discover and achieve their true career goals in the creative field.
